By sponsoring local organizations and events in Edmonton and the surrounding area, we can show our support for our neighbours and help to create vibrant, healthy communities or help to make our communities better places to live and call home. Edmonton Folk Festival
We’re proud to support the Edmonton Folk Festival, one of the city’s most loved summer traditions. Held in Gallagher Park, it’s a weekend full of incredible live music, great food, and good company.
As part of the festival’s Green Initiative, Mattamy will be on-site with giveaways and fun activities for everyone. Come enjoy the music and celebrate what makes Edmonton such a great place to live.
Batting Against Breast Cancer
At the heart of every great community are friendly people who make it feel like home. To support to our Edmonton neighbours affected by breast cancer, we sponsored the Batting Against Breast Cancer Event. Funds for life-saving research and support services were successfully raised, creating a sense of community when it mattered most.
Millennium Place Wellness Centre
In every Mattamy community, we aim to inspire our residents to live a healthy, active lifestyle in the nearby nature or local recreation centres. This is why we have sponsored the Wellness Centre in Millennium Place. Located on the second floor of this Sherwood Park facility, this functional training area is home to more than 500 pieces of state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
The Wellness Centre includes four Olympic lifting platforms, squat racks with bumper plates, kettlebells, selectorized weight machines, iso-lateral equipment, a dedicated group cycling room, an extensive cardio line-up with built-in 15-inch television screens and more! Enjoy the variety of activities available to keep your workout fresh and challenging.
Mattamy’s Holiday Event and Toy Drive
We kicked off the holidays at our Stillwater Sales Centre with a Holiday Event and Toy Drive for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Plenty of residents stopped by to join us for an afternoon of family-friendly fun that included contests, prizes, hot cocoa and pictures with Santa. With ample donations received going to children in need, it was a successful event filled with festivities, smiles and generosity.
Sustainival Edmonton
As the largest family-owned homebuilder in North America, we’re proud to bring healthy, connected living to Edmonton. Always looking to implement sustainable solutions into our homes and communities, we were excited to be a sponsor for Sustainival Edmonton, the world’s first net zero carnival!
This event featured community booths, games and carnival rides – all powered by renewable energy. Not only did Sustainival Edmonton bring communities together, but it educated and engaged attendees about energy and the environment in an informed dialogue – sounds like a win-win to us!
RavenWood Music Festival
Mattamy Homes is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the 2025 RavenWood Music Festival in Sherwood Park! This two-day event at Broadmoor Lake Park features a diverse lineup of artists, local vendors, and a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. Life Cycle in Edmonton
Mattamy is proud to be the sponsor of Life Cycle in Calgary and Edmonton! Life Cycle is a virtual cycling challenge to support kids across Alberta and beyond. The money raised will support vital Child Life programs at both the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary and the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton. Every year, thousands of children and families rely on these hospitals for expert pediatric care. Together, let’s help kids get back to being kids!
